Dr. Angela Cookman Taylor, Ph.D., LCSW, is a licensed psychotherapist, certified EMDR practitioner, certified yoga instructor, and witch for hire. Angela supports a holistic and naturopathic approach to healing. She is trained in existential, depth, integration and archetypal psychologies, as well as social welfare.

She received her Master’s degree in Social Welfare from UCLA and her PhD in Psychology from Meridian University. She practices a nature-based spirituality and is a lifelong student of the plants, herbs, trees, animals, mud, fire, winds, and water. She currently maintains a private practice where she guides people through a re-wilding process.

She supports people in releasing old aspects created in fear, shame or trauma and in re-membering who they are. She facilitates and teaches ritual, ceremony, and other wonderful witchery to support these initiations, to help people recognize the presence of the Sacred, and to bring magick to the mundane.

She helps life travelers identify and clean out barriers (external and internal; past and present; physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and mystical) to their natural state. From here, she supports people in reconnecting with their intuition, creativity, and spirit so they can embody a new, integrated, powerful Soul Self. She draws on the wisdoms of Carl Jung, Clarissa Pinkola-Estes, R.D. Laing, Anna Halprin, Ram Das, Starhawk, yoga teachers, nature, meditators, intuitives, dancers, poets, musicians and numerous other artists. Her primary goal is to help each life traveler who enters her “cabin in the woods” to heal their body, psyche and spirit and to recognize, embrace, embody, and share with the world their true, full, authentic self.

She is a Baba Yaga-in-training…think Fairy Godmother, with sticks in her hair.
